I have been playing music since I was eight, starting out on Saxophone and switching to Drumset at fourteen. I have played on numerous bands demos, as well as paid recording sessions. I have performed at hundreds of venues and have made music my life. The love of music and the love of performing well to an appreciative audience are what drives me.

I play with an infectious enthusiasm for the song and the beat. I play for the song with dynamic sensitivity, power, confidence and authority. I can “drive” a band and make it feel good. I have experience in writing drum parts for and arranging and recording original material. I read drum charts, understand theory, play guitar and play all drumming styles well. I have over twenty years of playing experience; both live and in the studio.

In various bands I have shared the stage with and opened shows for some notable players, including Eric Burdon, Jack Casady, Marty Balin, The Chambers Bros., Hank Ballard, David Lindley (El Rayo X), Norton Buffalo, Firefall (Tris Imboden on drums, now w/ Chicago), and played a bit with Lydia Pense during her time away from Cold Blood.

I have been priveleged to meet and play with some great known and unknown accomplished musicians. I have been a backstage guest of The Outlaws, Alcatrazz and Dave Mason. I have shared the drum chair with Babatunde Lea (Pharaoh Saunders) in The Linda Ferro Band.

I have done backline/drum tech work for The Zombies, Ian Hunter (Mott the Hoople) and Ray Manzarek (Doors) through a local production company.

I am easy to work with and take direction well. I am always on the lookout for musicians to play with and new musical situations. I live to drive a band. I also sing lead and harmony vocals and play guitar.

Please give me a buzz.
